Quick Start Manual Start Calling Now: Express Setup for Setu Call Three easy steps to start calling on your Setu Call

1. Download/Installation: The download/installation process has been streamlined to make setup quicker and easier than ever. If you have already downloaded and installed Setu Call skip this step and continue with the next one.

A. Go to www.setuinfocom.com

B. Click to download Setu Call. A wizard will guide you through the brief downloading process. It is important that you remember the folder in which you saved the file.

C. Double-click the icon on the desktop or the Windows Explorer folder to install. A setup wizard will guide you through the installation of Setu Call Dot Dialer Upon completion of the installation process, Dot Dialer will automatically open.

2. Sign Up or Log In: To use Dot-Dialer, you must have a valid Setu Call account. End of the installation, a message box appears. The purpose of this message box is to identify whether you are a Setu Call member, and to have you signed up and calling as quickly as possible. If you are not yet a Setu Call member...

If you are not yet a Setu Call, click 'Purchase Online'. You will be connected to a page from which you can purchase and receive a UserID and Password within few hours, which you will need to log in to Setu Call. You can now proceed to the instructions for Setu Call members. If you are already a deltathree.com member...

If you are already a Setu Call member, type your account information on the Log On box appears.

To enter your account information:

A. Enter your 8-digit UserID

B. Enter your 4-digit Password

C. If you want Setu Call to remember your UserID and Password for future use, select the Save Password checkbox.

D. Click OK to submit the information and activate your Setu Call


Congratulations, you are now ready to start using Setu CALL

3. Advanced Dialing Instructions Setu Call Dot Dialer Advanced Dialing Instructions Please note that you must have a valid Setu Call UserID and Password to use Dot Dialer. To dial using our Setu Call service (even for a local or domestic call), please follow the instructions below. Dialing Format: The dialing format now allows you to use any alphanumeric character, as well as standard delimiters. The format for dialing is: Country Code + Area Code* + Local Number.

The following formats are permitted: Dialing Format:

Examples: Standard delimiters,
where a plus sign '+' indicates country code,
parentheses '(xxx)' indicate area code,
and a dash '555-1212' divides the local number.
+1(212)555-1234 (US)
+44(171)222-1234 (UK)
Numbers only 12125551234 (US) ,441712221234 (UK)

Numbers and lettersNote:

The country code and area code cannot include letters.
1555FLOWERS (US)- One space or dash between numbers 1 212 555 1234 (US)
1-212-555-1234 (US)
Do NOT dial an international access code (e.g., 011 or 00) before the number.
*If the area code begins with zero, omit the zero (e.g., for '09' dial only '9').

Invalid dialing formats :

Any dialing format that is not mentioned among the examples above is invalid and will likely cause dialing errors.

Please note the following rules:
  • The '+' should be used only before the country code Parentheses '(xxx)' should enclose the area code only.
  • Between numbers, there cannot be more than one space, dot and/or dash).
  • Dialing numbers that include an extension There are two ways of dialing a number than includes an extension.

1. Dial the number, then upon hearing the voice prompt, dial the extension.

2. Dial the number, then insert a comma before dialing an extension.

For example,
  • to dial a New York number that includes extension 417, dial 12125551234,417.
  • Inserting a comma creates a dialing delay.
  • To adjust the length of the dialing delay, go to the Dialing tab (Tools/Preferences/Dialing) and edit the number of seconds in the 'Delay on comma for' box.


How to Dial
:

1. Enter the phone number in the white Number Display bar.

2. Click 'YES' to place a call.

3. Click 'NO' to end the call. Dialing using the Interface Dial Pad or keyboard:

a. Using the mouse, be sure the cursor is in the Number Display window.

b. Point and click on each number until the entire phone number is entered or type the number using the keyboard.

c. Click 'YES' to place a call.

d. Click 'NO' to end the call.
