Installation
 
 

You need a USB port on your machine to plug Setu USB Internet Phone Hotline.

1.Use the supplied telephone patch cable to connect your telephone to the Gateway device at the slot marked "Phone" (Figure 1).

2. Use the USB cable to connect the SETU USB gateway device from the slot marked "USB" to the USB port on your PC (Figure 2).

3. Your completed plug-ins should look similar to Figure 3.

  • You can use window's standard USB audio driver to use SETU USB IPG with win95/98/98SE/ME or you can use following driver to install Setu USB Internet Phone Hotline.
  • Please choose window's system directory when it ask about hardware.
  • To use Setu USB Internet Phone Hotline with Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you need drivers for it. Please download following drivers for Setu USB Internet Phone Hotline for all type windows operating system.
  • Carefully follow the appropriate instructions based on your operating system below.

1. Once you have installed the Gateway device, the Add New Hardware wizard opens automatically. Press Next to start the wizard; a window opens, displaying the message "Install Hardware Device Drivers".

4. The wizard searches for the best driver for your hardware device. If the search is successful, the driver named USB.INF is selected. Click Next, then Finish. 4. 5.If you are using an early version of Windows '98, this wizard may re-run automatically; this means that the wizard could not recognize the USB.INF file. If this does not occur, your hardware driver installation is complete. If it does occur, proceed with the following steps: 5. The wizard searches for your hardware device. If the search is successful, the message "The wizard found a driver for the following device: InternetPhoneWizard." is displayed. Click Next, then Finish. 5. The wizard searches for the best driver for your hardware device. If the search is successful, the driver named IPWUSB.INF is selected. Click Next, then Finish.
- Click Next to start the wizard.

- Select the Search for the best driver for your device option and click Next.

- The wizard finds driver, IPWUSB.INF which you need to download from our website above and attempts to copy this file. Please unzip download file. If a message appears indicating that the file cannot be found, click Browse to designate the folder where you have save the driver The wizard now re-runs; this time to find a driver for the audio device.

   
Note: Upon opening the application, you may be prompted to change your active sound card. This occurs when the installation process automatically sets USB as the default audio device for playback; this setting may prevent you from successfully running other multimedia applications. To change the audio device, go to Settings/Control Panel/(Sounds and) Multimedia/Audio and set the playback device to a sound card other than USB.
